The Calm Clinic & Caravan is seeking a compassionate, community-minded Licensed Acupuncturist to join our growing team.

We are a community-engaged, community-run, and community-focused acupuncture clinic dedicated to making acupuncture more accessible to Every Body. In addition to our new brick-and-mortar clinic in Roanoke, we operate a mobile clinic that travels throughout the region providing free 5 Needle Protocol (5NP) treatments and wellness services in partnership with local organizations.

Position Details

• Part-time position with potential to grow into full-time
• $35–$40 per hour, based on experience
• Flexible scheduling

Responsibilities

• Provide community-style acupuncture treatments
• Provide individual acupuncture treatments
• Support and promote a welcoming, inclusive clinic environment
• Collaborate with clinic staff, Auricular Acupuncture Technicians, and volunteers
• Participate in occasional community outreach and mobile clinic events
• Maintain accurate charting and professional standards of care

Qualifications

• Current Virginia acupuncture license (or ability to obtain licensure before start date)
• Strong clinical skills and professional judgment
• Passion for community health and accessible care
• Comfortable working in both community and individual treatment settings
• Interest in collaborative, mission-driven work

Bonus Points If You...

• Have experience in community acupuncture settings
• Have experience with 5 Needle Protocol (NADA/AcuDetox)
• Enjoy community outreach and public engagement
• Are willing to learn to drive our 36-foot pink acupuncture bus
